I am double-fellowship trained (United Kingdom and France) Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty interest in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust in London, United Kingdom. I am the clinical lead for the Virtual Fracture Clinic (VFC) and the Shoulder & Elbow unit at Barnet Hospital, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
I also work within a group structure at Total Orthopaedics, that exists to provide a multi-specialty service, with the benefits of collaborative and innovative working.
In recognition of my clinical and research contributions I was elected a member of the Program Committee of the prestigious European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow, alongside world-renowned surgeons.
I am an active British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS), European Society for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (SECEC/ESSSE) and American Shoulder and Elbow Society (ASES) member. I was awarded winner of the BESS Travelling Fellowship, as well as the Paul Calvert Research Paper Prize, the ISAKOS Upper Limb Travelling Fellowship and several other international and national awards. In addition to my year-long fellowship in France, I have also visited many other leading shoulder and elbow surgeons in Europe (18 surgeons across 6 countries).
