If you are paying for yourself, you don’t need a referral from your GP for a consultation. Simply book an appointment!
We will need a referral for any scans though, such asX-rays and MRIs. Ask your GP for a referral, or we might be able to arrange this for you at our on-site private GP.
If you have health insurance (e.g. Bupa, Axa, Aviva), get in touch with them and get authorisation before any treatment. In most cases you will also need to get a referral letter from your GP.
If you are not registered with a GP, book an appointment at our in-house private GP practice.
St John’s Hospice offers free palliative and respite care to over 4,500 patients and their families, across seven London boroughs, every year. The Hospice couldn’t offer its essential services without the support from St John & St Elizabeth Hospital.
