Mr Naique has been practising Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon for the past twenty years, both in the UK and abroad. He was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust (St Marys Hospital & Charing Cross Hospital) in 2008.

Since then he has been a leading member of the hip and knee arthroplasty firm at Charing Cross Hospital and the senior surgeon in complex limb salvage and limb lengthening and reconstruction at St Mary’s Hospital Major Trauma Centre.

His Orthopaedic training began at Mumbai University & The King Edward Memorial Hospital in 1993, completing his Orthopaedic Residency with a Gold Medal Award for the Best Candidate.

He later completed the FRCS-Edinburgh and FRCS -Orth, securing the G B Ong Gold Medal for the most distinguished candidate. He completed his fellowship training in hip and knee arthroplasty and revision surgery at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.

He is an integral part of the renowned Ortho-plastic Team dealing with Open Limb injuries. This allows simultaneous assessment and management of severe open limb injuries by consultants in Orthopaedics and Plastics,  working alongside to provide credible Limb Salvage Options after severe limb threatening Injuries. This is in line with the best practice guidelines as recommended by NICE and British Orthopaedic Association standard of Care.

Mr Naique is a keen teacher, researcher, conducting regular lectures, workshops and symposia in the field of limb reconstruction in Europe, China, South Africa and the US, helping promote new techniques and develop expertise in the field.
