I have graduated in India and completed my post graduate degree in medicine in Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and research and migrated to United Kingdom for higher study and training. I have completed my Royal College of Physician board exam and awarded a membership initially and then incorporated as Fellow. I have completed my higher training in gastroenterology in Northern Deanery and have completed three years of Endoscopy Research Fellow post and completed thesis in Durham University and warded M.D degree. I also trained as Pancreatic-biliary fellow in Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and trained in advanced ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound.
I have joined as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in James Cook University Hospital and worked for three years and relocated to London as Consultant Endoscopist and Gastroenterologist in North Middlesex University Hospital and currently the Clinical and Training Lead for Endoscopy.
I work as a interventional endoscopist and a consultant gastroenterologist and has a special interest in pancreatic-biliary medicine and endoscopy and has interest in training in Endoscopy.
I am a faculty member of Northern School of Endoscopy and deliver training modules in accredited endoscopy courses.
I review patients with wide variety of symptoms in gastroenterology and perform diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection, flexible sigmoidoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatogram (ERCP) and endscopic ultrasound (EUS) procedures.
