Yuying graduated with MSc (Pre-reg) Physiotherapy degree from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen in 2008. She has worked in NHS Scotland and NHS England, as well as private sectors over the years.
She is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). She developed her specialist knowledge in complex elective orthopaedics surgeries, include but not limited to upper and lower limb joint reconstructions, lower limb lengthening, sarcoma limb salvage work and spinal surgeries following her time working at the Royal National Orthopaedics Hospital, Stanmore.
She is also a member of the specialist interest group – Association of Trauma and Orthopaedic Chartered Physiotherapy (ATOCP). She is now the Inpatient Therapy Lead at St John’s and St Elizabeth Hospital.
