Using validated diagnostic tools, including WatchPAT home sleep testing and AI-supported reporting, we provide reliable insights into your sleep patterns. This allows our consultants to recommend the most appropriate next steps, whether that is further investigation or targeted treatment.

Your journey to better sleep
We provide a clear, structured pathway to help identify the cause of your symptoms and guide you towards the most appropriate treatment, with expert support at every stage.
1. Initial assessment
You will begin with a detailed questionnaire or app-based assessment, helping us understand your sleep patterns, symptoms and medical history.
2. At home sleep study (WatchPAT)
Most patients will undergo a simple overnight home sleep test using WatchPAT technology. It uses a finger-mounted probe and a small wrist device to collect this information, which is then analysed by a sleep specialist. This monitors your sleep for one night in your own home.
3. Specialist reporting
A specialist physiologist analyses your results, supported by AI technology to ensure accurate and efficient reporting.
4. Further investigation (if needed)
Depending on your results, your consultant may recommend:
- A more detailed home sleep study, or
- An inpatient overnight sleep study at the hospital
5. Personalised treatment and care
If a sleep condition is identified, your consultant will discuss the most appropriate treatment options with you. As a hospital, we offer a comprehensive range of services, allowing your care to be delivered seamlessly. This may include lifestyle support, CPAP therapy, oral devices, or referral to other specialists where needed.
Our approach to diagnosing and treating sleep disorders
At our Sleep Clinic, we take a structured, consultant-led approach designed to deliver fast, accurate diagnosis and seamless ongoing care.
Rapid diagnosis
We aim to reduce the time between your first appointment and diagnosis. Our streamlined pathway, including home sleep testing and specialist reporting, allows many patients to receive results quickly, avoiding unnecessary delays and uncertainty.
Multidisciplinary care
Your care is delivered by a team of specialists, not a single clinician. Depending on your needs, this may include sleep consultants, physiologists, dentists and mental health specialists, ensuring a comprehensive and joined-up approach to diagnosis and treatment.
Advanced diagnostics and technology
We use validated diagnostic tools, including WatchPAT sleep studies and AI-supported analysis, to provide detailed insights into your sleep. For more complex cases, we offer inpatient studies in a hospital setting, giving access to a higher level of monitoring and clinical oversight.
Continuity of care
Your treatment does not stop at diagnosis. We provide clear, personalised treatment plans alongside coordinated follow-up, ensuring you are supported at every stage of your care and recovery.

We offer prompt appointments and a streamlined diagnostic pathway to ensure you receive the care you need without unnecessary delays.
The WatchPAT is a small, non-invasive device used to diagnose sleep disorders, most commonly obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). It allows your sleep to be monitored overnight in the comfort of your own home, without needing to stay in hospital.
The device measures subtle changes in your body during sleep, including:
- Breathing patterns
- Oxygen levels in your blood
- Heart rate
- Movement and sleep stages
It uses a finger-mounted probe and a small wrist device to collect this information, which is then analysed by a sleep specialist.
The clinic sees adult patients aged 18 and over.
