Biography

Catherine Rabess is a Registered Dietitian with Health & Care Professional Council registration (HCPC). An avid member of British Dietetic Association (BDA), she is also part of other specialist Parenteral, Enteral Nutrition and Gastroenterology (PENG) groups. Catherine is a trained BDA Media Spokesperson and regularly provides comments for a range of media including print, online, articles, radio and television.

Catherine specialises in gastroenterology including coeliac disease, IBS, FODMAPs, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s, colitis, small bowel syndrome, gastroparesis, hepatobiliary liver disease, pancreatitis and upper and lower GI oncology. Catherine also specialises in disease related malnutrition, nutrition support, parenteral and enteral nutrition, weight management and type two diabetes. Catherine also has experience treating long term neurological conditions for a neuro-rehabilitation service within a specialist stroke unit.
