Dr Wright graduated MBBS from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, receiving a Merit in Clinical Pharmacology, and holds a First-Class Honours degree in the History of Medicine from University College London. She completed her specialist training across major London teaching hospitals and has been a Consultant Geriatrician and Acute General Medical Physician at Charing Cross Hospital since 2016.
Throughout her career, she has developed a particular interest in community and nursing-home-based care, integrated care pathways and improving services for older adults with complex medical and social needs. She has contributed to service development, admission-avoidance initiatives and more coordinated approaches to care across hospital, community and residential settings.
Dr Wright has extensive experience in the care of older adults with frailty, memory problems, falls, multiple complex medical conditions and multiple medications, and in understanding their impact on day-to-day function, independence and quality of life. Her approach is holistic, compassionate and person-centred. She takes time to understand the whole person, including their health, cognition, circumstances and priorities, and works collaboratively with patients, families and wider care teams. Her aim is to bring together the different strands of care and develop a clear, practical plan that reflects what matters most to the individual

My approach is holistic, person-centred and collaborative. I take time to understand the whole person, bringing together their medical conditions, medications, memory and thinking, day-to-day function, social circumstances and what matters most to them.
I work with patients and, where appropriate, their families to understand the cause of their difficulties and agree a clear, practical plan. This may involve further investigation, treatment changes, medication review or measures to reduce risk and build confidence.
My aim is to support independence, quality of life and informed decision-making. With the patient’s agreement, I coordinate recommendations with their GP and wider care team, ensuring care is joined-up and tailored to their priorities.
