Miss Ting is a Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon caring for adults and children. She completed her medical training at the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London, graduating proxime accessit to the MBBS Gold Medal.

Her ophthalmology residency was undertaken at Moorfields Eye Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident and completed her foundation specialist oculoplastic training. She then pursued a prestigious two-year ASOPRS (American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, where she undertook advanced training in cosmetic eyelid surgery, minimally invasive endoscopic techniques, orbital surgery, and the full range of functional oculoplastic conditions.

Miss Ting is currently a Consultan Oculoplastic Surgeon at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, where she leads the Thyroid Eye Disease Service and serves as a preceptor for a competitive international oculoplastic fellowship programme. She lectures nationally in oculoplastic surgery for trainee ophthalmic surgeons preparing for consultant qualification and maintains active research and teaching interests.

She is a member of the British Oculoplastic Surgical Society (BOPSS), the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Her areas of expertise include:

  •  Functional and aesthetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty, ptosis, ectropion, entropion, brow lift)
  • Paediatric oculoplastic surgery including congenital ptosis
  • Surgical and non-surgical periocular rejuvenation
  • Eyelid and orbital cancer and trauma reconstruction
  • Watery eye and endoscopic tear duct surgery
  • Medical and surgical management of thyroid eye disease
