Mr Adnaan-Ul Haq is a Consultant Ophthalmologist based in London with over a decade of experience in ophthalmic surgery and clinical care. His expertise includes cataract surgery, laser eye surgery (LASIK, LASEK, PRK), medical glaucoma treatment (including glaucoma laser), YAG laser capsulotomy, implantable contact lenses (ICL), and refractive procedures such as LASIK and LASEK/PRK. To date, he has performed more than 2,500 surgical procedures.
Mr Haq earned his MBBS from St George’s University of London in 2013 before undertaking a research fellowship at Leicester University Hospital. He later obtained a Certificate in Laser and Refractive Surgery from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, where he also holds fellowship status. His clinical practice includes his role at Central Middlesex Hospital and work with Harley Vision, alongside previous experience at the A&E department of Moorfields Eye Hospital.
In addition to his surgical practice, Mr Haq has a strong interest in medical education. He gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from Anglia Ruskin University in 2023 and regularly teaches and supervises medical students, nurses and optometrists in ophthalmic practice. His academic contributions include co-authoring peer-reviewed publications and presenting research findings at professional conferences across Europe
