Biography

Mr Nimalan Maruthainar was born and largely brought up in London with schooling at the Haberdashers’ Aske’s School. He qualified from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in1993. He is a demonstrator in Anatomy at Leeds University.

He did his Basic Surgical Training at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and further training and SpR rotation at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. This included one year as Clinical Lecturer at the Institute of Orthopaedics, University College London (UCL).

Mr Nimalan Maruthainar has been a Consultant at the Royal Free Hospital since July 2005. Have recently withdrawn from circuit medical team at Snetterton Motor Racing Circuit. Now kept happily busy by family and developing practice. He is married with two daughters.
