Mr Richard Scawn is a very experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist and oculoplastic eyelid specialist. He leads the Chelsea and Westminster Oculoplastic Service and is Clinical Lead for Ophthalmology. He is a member of the nationally renowned Chelsea Craniofacial service. He provides the Ophthalmology service at the Royal Marsden and Oculoplastic service in Buckinghamshire NHS Trust.
He treats all eyelid related issues ranging from eyelid cysts to aesthetic eyelid surgery to complex reconstructions of patients with burns, cancers and trauma. Richard graduated Imperial College in 2002 with Distinction in Medicine. He trained in Ophthalmology at Moorfields Eye Hospital and then did further specialist Oculoplastic training in Moorfields and Chelsea and Westminster and California, being awarded the 2012 Keeler scholarship from The Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
