Book

I am a Consultant Plastic, Orthoplastic and Hand Surgeon practicing at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and Honorary Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton. I have been in post since August 2020.

My areas of expertise include Adult and Paediatric Hand Surgery (Elective and Trauma), general Plastic Surgery (including correction of deformities, removal of lesions including skin cancer), Paediatric Plastic Surgery and Complex Microvascular Reconstruction (Lower Limb, Major trauma, Hand, Chest reconstruction).

I run my NHS clinics at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and Royal Alexandra Childrens Hospital, Brighton. I have completed Pan Thames Plastic Surgery Training Rotation in London, as well as training in Wales and Yorkshire. I have European Diploma of Hand Surgery and completed TIG Advanced Training Post Fellowship in Hand Surgery, under supervision current President of British Society of Surgery of the Hand Mr Boyce and previous President Mr Newington. I have completed Aesthetic Surgery training in Swansea and London. Due to my passion for training the next generation of Plastic Surgeons I have recently taken over as KSS Training Programme Director for Plastic Surgery (Kent, Surrey and Sussex).

I am delighted to be working as part of The Hand Doctor Practice where together with my orthopaedic hand surgery colleagues, Mr Maxim Horwitz and Mr Dan Shaerf we manage the full range of bone and soft tissue pathology.

I have passion for perfection in surgery, and in particular I take time to select the most appropriate procedure for the patient, taking into account patient’s views and needs.  I always strive for clear discussions with my patients to develop common strategy in treatment of sometimes quite complex and challenging problems.
