Mrs Sabrina Shah-Desai
Biography
Mrs. Sabrina Shah-Desai is a Consultant Ophthalmologist & Oculoplastic Lead at Queen’s Hospital, UK.
She qualified from Bombay University (1994), and trained in UK to complete a fellowship in Cornea & Oculoplastics at East Grinstead (1996-1997), followed by Oculoplastic fellowships at Salisbury & Southampton Eye Units (1998) and then at Moorfields Eye Hospital (2000-2001). In 2009 she undertook a secondment at the craniofacial unit of Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. She has expertise in the management of eyelid, lacrimal & socket disorders based on her extensive experience at Moorfields Eye Hospital (2003-2010).
Her clinical research interests include thyroid eye disease and periocular cancers. She runs an annual “Back to Basics” pigs eyelid wet lab.
