Professor Saurabh Jain is a highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist with expertise in both adult and paediatric ophthalmology. He specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of strabismus (squint), cataracts and a wide range of childhood eye conditions, providing personalised care for patients of all ages.

His practice encompasses the medical and surgical management of eye movement disorders, including complex adult and paediatric strabismus, as well as cataract surgery and the treatment of common paediatric ophthalmic conditions. He is particularly experienced in managing patients with squints, tracking difficulties, amblyopia (lazy eye), refractive errors and watering eyes in infants and children.

Professor Jain is recognised internationally for his expertise in strabismus surgery and has a particular interest in modern minimally invasive techniques. He offers adult small-incision strabismus surgery using adjustable sutures, paediatric strabismus surgery and Botox treatment for selected squint conditions.

Alongside his clinical practice, Professor Jain is actively involved in research, education and training within ophthalmology. He has held academic appointments and has contributed extensively to advancing the understanding and treatment of eye movement disorders and paediatric ophthalmology.
