The Stroke Clinic provides one of the best stroke rehabilitation services in the UK. Comprising of an expert multidisciplinary team of Consultant Neurologists and Physicians with decades of experience, we provide highly tailored, round the clock care to suit the individual needs of every patient.
We offer a comprehensive service for stroke patients covering post-stroke care and rehabilitation, mini strokes & TIA’s and neuropsychology from our expert Consultants.
Additionally, we cover neurological physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech & language therapy all under one roof at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital.
We are a fully accredited BUPA rehab unit – giving unrivalled levels of access to physiotherapy to ensure the fullest possible recovery.
Our state-of-the-art facility provides care and treatment for post-acute stroke and transient ischaemic attack (TIA) patients whilst in hospital, and on-going individual rehabilitation when the patient returns home.
Patients receive tailored care plans from Physiotherapists, Dietitians and Psychologists to promote the rehabilitation process whilst being cared for by experienced, dedicated nurses.
The multidisciplinary team have a shared goal of ensuring the patient has a smooth journey of care whilst at the hospital, working in partnership with our patients and their families to ensure the best medical care and the fullest possible recovery.
