Raisa earned her BSc from the University of Santo Tomas and started her career as a licensed physiotherapist in the Philippines. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and a practicing member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Raisa started her career in one of the biggest tertiary hospitals in the Philippines wherein she was able to handle a vast number of clinical conditions including MSK, geriatric, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-operative conditions for both an in and out-patient setting. She has experience working with both NHS and private patients. During her time with the NHS, she also worked in primary care as a First Contact Physiotherapist – a specialized role focused on assessing, diagnosing, and providing appropriate treatment or referrals for musculoskeletal issues at a patient’s initial point of contact. Her main clinical interest is in treating musculoskeletal conditions.
