St John & St Elizabeth's Hospital Imaging Department to use Deep Resolve for MRI Scans
Read time: 2 mins

St John & St Elizabeth Hospital is delighted to announce that its Imaging Department will now be using Deep Resolve, AI Software produced by Siemens on the two MRI scanners at the Hospital.
With the introduction of Deep Resolve, Consultants and medical referrers will benefit from improved MRI image quality while patients will benefit from reduced scan times.
The reduced scan times will also provide increased MRI capacity allowing patients and referrers to take advantage of same day or next day referrals, for example it reduces an MRI Knee appointment time from 30 minutes to 20 minutes. The reduction in appointment times for the majority of scans will then increase the Imaging Department’s capacity to see more patients each day.
The Imaging Department will also be able to offer MRI scanning and an outpatient X-Ray service on Saturdays, allowing patients more choice of appointments at a time that suits them.
The use of Deep Resolve also aids the hospital in achieving its environmental goals, with the software offering a reduction in energy consumption per patient.
