Mr Indran Balasundram

Indran is an award-winning, UK trained and accredited Consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing in London. He has a specialist interest in facial Injuries and skin surgery. He also operates a practice which includes salivary gland surgery (including minimally invasive sialendoscopy) and problems with the temperomandibular joint (including minimally invasive arthroscopy) and complicated tooth removal including wisdom teeth.

Indran has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work nationally and internationally. He has been awarded the research grant from the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is the lead for trauma specialist interest group.

He trained at both Imperial College and Kings College London and holds both qualifications in medicine and dentistry. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and his NHS practice involves oral surgery, facial trauma/injuries and skin cancer work. His current NHS work is at London northwest University NHS trust, Imperial College NHS trust and Hillingdon Hospital NHS trust. He has previously held a college tutor position at Oxford University.
