Dr Anish Bhuva is highly regarded for his expertise in diagnosis and treatment of all aspects of heart disease. He is a Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre, the largest cardiovascular centre in Europe and has received multiple recognitions including the University of London Gold Medal. He is an Associate Professor at University College London, leads the highly respected National Heart Rhythm Audit in NHS England, monitoring the quality of heart rhythm procedures nationwide.

He completed undergraduate training at St John’s College, Cambridge University and clinical training at University College London. He was awarded a PhD from University College London, using advanced cardiac techniques to understand the effects of marathon training, receiving widespread international media coverage. He has received multiple awards for his clinical care and received a triple first class degree.

He has a reputation for high quality care, careful evaluation of his patients, friendly and sympathetic manner. He is experienced in all areas of general cardiology. He is passionate about developing cardiac fitness and preventing heart disease. He is an experienced operator in cardiac MRI and routinely implants loop recorders, complex cardiac pacemaker and defibrillator devices. He leads nationally on provision of MRI for cardiac device recipients.

He speaks English, Italian and limited Gujarat

He has received over 50 international and national recognitions for his clinical care, research and training. This includes:
