Miss Fani Kokka obtained her medical degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece and then specialised in obstetrics and gynaecology.
She underwent sub-specialty training in gynaecological oncology (cancer) at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal Marsden hospitals in London, and was appointed as a consultant in gynaecological cancer at East Kent Gynaecological Oncology Centre in 2014.
In addition to gynaecological cancers, she has special interests in minimal access surgery, colposcopy and vulval diseases, and also specialises in the surgical management of gynaecological malignancies.
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG), has been certified by the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP), and is an RCOG-certified subspecialist in gynaecological cancer.
She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals in the field of gynaecological cancers.
