Thousands joined us this weekend as we celebrated our second summer fayre of the year at Paddington Recreational Ground.
Families and Hospice supporters enjoyed the glorious London sunshine– with top temperatures reaching as high as 30 C!
Dozens of market stalls selling a variety of delicious cuisines and refreshing drinks were on hand to keep supporters hydrated, as well as stalls offering a wide selection of gifts such as children’s toys to handmade fashion. Children enjoyed taking donkey rides in the park and the classic funfair rides proved as popular as ever – with youngsters enjoying the Mega Slide, Water Zorbing and the Dodgems to name a few.
Fundraising Director Mark Thomas said, ‘We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff, volunteers and families who came out to enjoy the fayre and raise funds for our Hospice. Also a big thank you to our sponsors; Barclays, Casualty First, Hamptons International, BMW Park Lane and City of Westminster and Maida Vale Councillors for your generous support.’
