Families and friends came together on the bustling St John’s Wood High Street this Father’s Day for The Classic & Supercar Pageant, which saw a fantastic £15,000 raised for St John’s Hospice. St John’s Wood High Street was filled with some of the world’s rarest classic and super cars, allowing supporters the opportunity to get up close with the cars and experience first hand being inside one of the worlds most valuable, a £35m Ferrari owned by rock star Nick Mason!
There was something for everyone with classic funfair rides for children to enjoy and delicious food and drink from local cafes and restaurants, along with family entertainment throughout the day that brought a joyful atmosphere to the occasion.
Mark Thomas, Director of Fundraising said, ‘A big thank you to everyone who made our first car show such a wonderful success, including our generous sponsors Knight Frank.’
The money raised, will go directly to help fund our hospice that provides palliative care to over 4,000 patients and their families across North-West and Central London, free of charge, every year.
