Queen Elizabeth II, 1926 – 2022
It is with much sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. As our longest reigning monarch, she dedicated her life to public service with unparalleled grace and dignity. Our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time. May she rest in peace.
The Queen visited our hospice garden at the Chelsea Flower show in 2016 (one of three gardens she visited that year), and would always ask about the garden on meeting Lord Guthrie, our then Chairman.
We remember her with affection and respect.
