Endoscopy Suite

Our state-of-the-art Endoscopy suite is located on the second floor of our modern Brampton House Outpatient Complex. The spacious and bright design of the suite reflects our concern for patient comfort and care, and meets the rigorous standards set by the Care Quality Commission.

We recognise the very sensitive nature of gastrointestinal illness and understand the necessity to provide our services in an environment which emphasizes privacy and confidentiality.

Endoscopy suite

There are six recovery bays and two procedure rooms in which we perform colonoscopies, upper GI tract endoscopiesm, gastric ballooning, bronchoscopies, and minor procedures under local anaesthetic or sedation.  Procedures requiring general anaesthesia are performed in our main theatre complex.

We recognise the very sensitive nature of gastrointestinal illness and understand the necessity to provide our services in an environment which emphasizes privacy and confidentiality.

Patients arriving at our facility always receive a personal, friendly and efficient service. We strive to minimize the time and inevitable anxiety associated with endoscopy investigations, while making sure that we maintain our high standards of individual attention, thoroughness, and quality.

Simplified registration and check-in procedures, private interviewing and changing facilities and a comfortable recovery room all enhance the patient’s experience. There is a spacious waiting area adjacent to the suite for accompanying relatives or friends.

Each of our leading-edge procedure suites is fitted with the very latest in endoscopic technology which provide the operators with high definition image capture and still photography of procedures undertaken. An integrated reporting and audit system supports all our endoscopy investigations ensuring the highest standards of care and safety. Our skilled and dedicated nursing staff provides outstanding care for the patient and technical support to the Consultant Endoscopists.

After procedures are completed, patients are transferred to our fully-staffed recovery areas where light refreshments are offered and test results are explained.

We are always happy to provide patients with a pre-treatment tour of our facility, and answer any questions they may have.

Make an enquiry

If you have any questions relating to treatment options or pricing information, get in touch with us by filling out one of our contact boxes or giving us a call on 020 7078 3802.

Our Appointments Team have a dedicated and caring approach to finding you the earliest appointment possible with the best specialist.

If you are self-paying you don’t need a referral from your GP for a consultation. You can simply refer yourself* and book an appointment.

If you have health insurance (e.g. Bupa, Axa Health, Aviva), you will need to contact your insurer to get authorisation before any treatment, and in most cases you will also require a referral letter from your GP.

If you are not registered with a GP, we have an in-house private GP practice you can use. Alternatively, we can suggest the most appropriate course of action for you to take, given your location and individual circumstances.

*Please note – for investigations such as X-rays and MRIs, a referral will be required. However, we may be able to arrange this for you through our on-site private GP.
