State-of-the-art newly refurbished St Elizabeth’s Ward – Now open
We’re delighted to announce that our newly refurbished, state-of-the-art, St Elizabeth’s Ward is now open, with our first patients already being admitted to the ward following a successful launch on Friday 4th January 2019.
The ward has undergone a complete ultra modern refurbishment that meets the highest requirements of infection and environmental controls for patients and includes a spacious new reception and seating area.
The state-of-the-art patient rooms are fitted with Bluetooth controlled air conditioning, smart TVs and stylish fixtures & fittings, including dimmable light settings, quadruple glazed windows, spacious wet rooms and self flushing taps to reduce the risk of Pseudomonas.
Key features include clinical hand washing sinks incorporated in every patient room and innovative shower heads that change colour to indicate when cleaning is required.
