We’re delighted to announce that we’re the only Hospital in the UK to offer the very latest in weight-bearing CT imaging technology.
LineUP by CurveBeam is a world-leading CT scanner that will hugely benefit patients visiting our specialist Orthopaedic, Foot and Ankle and Knee units, offering rapid and effective diagnoses from injuries obtained to the knee and lower extremities.
This weight-bearing CT scanner helps replicate real life scenarios of pain and movement issues whilst standing, allowing our specialist physicians to better assess the patient’s injury quickly and more effectively.
The scanner is an extremity cone beam CT scanner that captures the entire image in a single 360-degree rotation, offering quick scan times of 50 seconds per scan.
