HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) is a minimally invasive treatment for benign prostate enlargement, also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It is a treatment that is suitable for all prostate sizes, including larger ones.
It uses a laser to cleanly removed the inner obstructive part of the prostate that is either partially or fully blocking the flow of urine. Because of it’s accuracy in removing the obstructive prostate tissue, there is a an extremely low likelihood that the tissue and your symptoms will come back.
