About Dr Joseph Davar
Joseph Davar is a Consultant Cardiologist with over 30 years’ experience, providing expert care for patients with a broad spectrum of cardiac conditions at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital. His approach focuses on accurate, non-invasive diagnosis and tailored treatment, helping patients manage both acute and long-term heart conditions.
He offers comprehensive One Stop Clinics, where consultations and essential cardiac investigations are carried out within a single appointment, allowing for prompt diagnosis and clear treatment planning.
Dr Davar is also a Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal Free Hospital and an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London. He has held leadership roles in specialist services including valvular and carcinoid heart disease, and has contributed to the development of international clinical guidelines.
His early medical training in Tbilisi and Moscow was recognised with prestigious awards, and he has continued to build an international reputation through research, teaching and clinical leadership.
