Mrs Gina Harris

Gina Harris is a specialist orthoptist who has worked at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust for over thirty years. She specialises in the diagnosis and management of children’s eye conditions including amblyopia, squints, convergence insufficiency and abnormal eye movements.
At the St John and St Elizabeth Hospital Gina has a paediatric clinic with Julie Broadbent, senior optometrist. At the first appointment children will all have a full orthoptic and refractive glasses assessment.
Gina and Julie both have extensive experience in assessing paediatric patients and working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Special interests: Treating amblyopia in older children. Assessing children with special educational needs.
